Customer detail page

The main page in Doppelganger is the customer list. From it, you can navigate to the detail page of customers by clicking on a customer in the list.

Customer details

The customer details lists some personal details of the customer you clicked. It will contain an orange “duplicate-account” tag, a green “main-account” tag or no tag at all, in which case it means the customer is not linked to other accounts.

Linked customers

If the customer is linked to other accounts, they’ll be displayed in a list and will each provide a way of quickly unlinking them from the group or navigating to the detail page of that account by clicking on it.

Link other customers

This section of the customer detail page allows you to search for other customers as if you’re on the main customer list, but it will have a filter predefined. This filter will search for potential duplicate accounts based on name, email address and (billing/shipping) address. Each customer result will have an action link with which you can easily link the account to the account you’re currently on.

Orders

On the right side there is a list of all orders from all the accounts that are linked. They’ll display some basic information. You can click them to navigate to the default order detail page in the Shopify Admin.

In the top right corner there is a link with which you can easily navigate to the default customer detail page in the Shopify Admin.

Admin link

From the default customer detail page in the Shopify Admin you can easily navigate to that customer’s detail page in Doppelganger. You can do that with what Shopify calls an Admin Link. You can find this at the top of the default customer detail page. There you’ll find a button called “More actions” which will trigger a dropdown. This will contain an option called “View in Doppelganger”. This will redirect you to the customer detail page in Doppelganger.
