Finding Duplicate Accounts

Doppelganger does not yet provide automated ways of finding duplicate accounts. These features are pending and will be developed as soon as possible.

At the moment, you either have to be aware of duplicate accounts or go through your list of customers one by one. Perhaps a customer has contacted saying they couldn’t find an order they made earlier.

Using the search option in the customer list, you can search on customers using any query. It will try to find customers that match that query on name, email or address.

On the detail page, a section called “Link customers” will show you customer accounts that are potential duplicates of that customer.
