Linking Duplicate Accounts
Linking accounts
Select accounts by enabling the checkboxes next to the accounts you want to link together. The selected accounts will appear in the right side column on the screen. Once you’ve selected all customers, you can click the green button named “Link customers”.
When none of the customers are part of an existing linked group, you’ll be asked to select the customer that you want to mark as the “main account”. When continuing, the accounts will be linked together. The main customer will receive a tag named “main account”, coloured green, and the duplicate customers will receive a tag named “duplicate account”, coloured orange.
Once linked, all linked accounts will now also show on the detail page of each of the linked customers where all orders will show in a single list as well.
Linking accounts to other main- or duplicate account
You can link accounts to a group of accounts that are already linked. To do so, select the new account you want to link and at least one other account that you have already linked. This can be a main account but also a duplicate account. In case you’ve only selected a duplicate account, the existing main account will still be seen as the main account.
